The Dreadful River Cave: chief Black Elk’s story by James Willared Schultz 1920, 243 pp, ex lib. Fair. Schultz pioneered in the Northwest in the 1870s, lived for a time with the Blackfeet and later wrote both fiction and nonfiction books about his experiences and the lives of his Blackfeet friends.
